  Chinese Famous Dish Mu Shu Pork


Mu Shu pork - for many years it was the most popular Chinese restaurant dish in the West court. This is traditional dish, Mu shu pork (also moo shi pork or mu Xu pork) is a court of Northern Chinese origin, possibly originally from Shandong. It is assumed that this Court first on the menus of Chinese restaurants in the United States in the late 1960s appeared, and is also a staple of the American Chinese cuisine. Now I will tell you how to make mu shu pork. This is a delicious dish, which is simple, but there is some exercise, in order to make at home.

Mu Shu pork marinade 

For this recipe you will need:

8 ounces pork loin

We will make a marinade for pork:

2 tbsp rice wine
2 tbsp soy sauce
1 tsp sesame oil
1 tsp cornstarch
1 tbsp garlic
1 tbsp fresh ginger

Marinade the Mu Shu pork

Cut the meat into small pieces. Chop the garlic and the ginger into fine pieces. Place them in a medium sized bowl and add the rest of the ingredients for the marinade then. Whisk everything together and add the pork. Stir this set so that the pork is well coated. Then cover the bowl and place it in the refrigerator 4 hours or so.

The pork marinating, You will need: 

1 cup of Fresh bean sprouts
1/2 cup bamboo shoots
1 teaspoon garlic
1 tbsp Sugar
1/4 cup soy sauce 
1 teaspoon vegetable oil
3 large eggs
2 cups bok choy
1/2 cup green onions after


This process you will also need some small pancakes (Tortillas great work) and Hoisin-Sauce for services of the Mu Shu Pork.

Chop the Mu Shu vegetables
Start to cut the green onions into small pieces and Bok Choi. Add the eggs in a small bowl and beat together.

Scramble the eggs
If you are ready to cook the Mu Shu, add two tablespoons of vegetable oil to a wok and let it heat up on medium heat. Add the eggs and climb until tight. If the eggs are done, remove them from the wok and place it in a bowl.

The Mu Shu pork Stir Fry
Add tablespoon oil in the wok and add the pork strips. Stir fry the pork in heat four to five minutes, until brown and well done. Remove it from the wok and set it aside.

The Mu Shu vegetables Stir Fry
Add another tablespoon oil in the wok and then the young cabbage, green onions, bamboo shoots, soy sauce, sugar and garlic and stir fry together for about three minutes or so, until the bok choy is withered.

Mix and serve the Moo Shu pork

At the end add the bean sprouts and return the pork, and the eggs in the wok. Mix it all together and let it cook until all the ingredients by warms up. If the Moo shu is done cooking, then in a large bowl. You can serve it to you or roles, such as in pancakes with Hoisin Sauce. Enjoy! Mu shu pork.
